Uncertainty about EMU's Future

Thanks Siri for inviting me to contribute here,

I just have an article I wanted to share.


When under budget constraints, the US states can rely on the Fed for help,

but despite sharing one currency, wealthier European nations like

Germany and France are doing little to help the weaker economics of the EMU, now labeled the "PIIGS."

And as the article states, getting involved with the IMF is not really a solution in any way...

Some central economic plan seems badly needed since none of the nations that can help are cooperating...


I also wanted to mention this video that has been making its rounds over the internet recently.

It's the Austrian vs Keynesian debate put into music video form.
